5  Analytical solution to H2 multivariable control
Our goal: Simple and effective analytic solution that may someday appear in standard textbooks.
   In the method no state variables, controllability/observability, and Riccati equations are used.
 
6 Radial track following of an optical disk driver (a typical repetitive control problem)
   Goal: reject periodic disturbances caused by eccentric rotation of the disk.
   Performance spec: Controller order: 4, Bandwidth>180Hz, 
                               Amplitude of disturbance>50um, Error permitted<0.022um.
   The best result we can find in the literature is 150Hz, 50um->0.022um 
          (Ryoo, J.R. IEEE T. Consumer Electronics, 2003, 49(4), p1178). 
   This result is not permitted opening.
 
 My guide line
 
 In my research, I look for solutions that are fundamental, but efficient  in the sense that they 
shed light on existing solutions and open doors to solving the problem in the simplest way 
possible. I like to judge research results by the extent to which they may someday appear 
in standard textbooks of the field, and by their impact on future engineering practice. I believe 
   that such solutions are all around us, and that we just have to make a conscious effort to 
   look for them.
